Mental Health is Just as Serious as Any Physical Health Problem.
Let me guess, at least once in your life you have been told that mental health isn't as important? Well let me tell you something, that is so not true. Mental health is how you act and react to certain events and actions. If you are mental unstable or have some sort of mental illness that doesn't mean you are messed up or wrong or anything. It actually means you are sick, not in a bad way though like bullies and other people might tell you. It means your brain is sick, like if you broke your arm you have to give it time to heal and fix itself, or have a doctor fix it for you; your brain has to do that same thing. It is called an illness for a reason.
There are many different types of illnesses that affect the brain, here is a quick short list:
This is just a short list of some of the most commonly known disorders, they all have similar traits, but also have very different traits which is how some people have more than one. Having a disorders is something you can live with even though it, at times or maybe all the time, might seem too difficult. I will go into more detail about some of these disorders in other pages of this site. PS: I cannot diagnose anyone with any disorder, I can only say that you might have symptoms and that it would be advise to see a psychiatrist.
